Furniture Clean Out! Guidelines
We created this category so that we can get rid of your gear quickly!
What this means is that we have several places where the contractors take the gear. We give much of the gear to the Op Shops, post online and other second hand dealers so they can go to another home. The contractors charge to pick up the gear so they look to cover their costs.
When you request a Furniture Clean Out! we request that you follow the following process.
Book DownUnder in, using the Booking Request section, so that we can pass on your request.
Take photos of the furniture you would like removed and send it through to us.
State mechanical issues, missing parts or damage associated with the piece.
Unfortunately we cannot accept the following;
Marble, Compressed Wood or Glass. (However, If you think it can go to good home, please check in with us).
Mattresses, bedding, throw rugs and pillows.
Items with mechanical issues, missing parts or structural damage.
Items that do not meet our quality and durability standard. (if you need further qualification on this please let us know.)
Items that would be referred to as rubbish.

We currently service areas within Brooklyn and downtown Manhattan. They include the following;
